The bathing and bathroom culture in Hellenistic Bactria

The paper introduces into scientific discourse finds of terracotta tub fragments discovered in the Hellenistic Uzundara and Kampyrtepa fortresses. The analysis of previously obtained archaeological materials dating to the 4th-2nd centuries BC from the Kurganzol fortress and the city of Ai-Khanum where bathrooms were recorded along with the new data allows us to state the presence of a developed culture of bathing on all Hellenistic sites in Bactria where wide-scale excavations were conducted.
