The design of the comforter made of fire-resistant knitted fabric

The objects of research are knitting fabrics for fireman balaclava; the design of this product and technology for its manufacturing. The purpose of the work is to create the fireman balaclava design using the fire - resistant knitting fabric with optimal structure. In result of research prototype knitting fabrics are manufactured. They have various interlacement and compositions. Thermal and physical properties of prototype fabrics are investigated. Positive properties of knitting materials made from Arselon® yarn are confirmed. Received materials are subjected to a set of mechanical and hygienic properties tests. The most technological interlacement for production of fireman balaclava is offered. Also some varieties are offered of balaclava design with constructional features. Recommendations for implementing of production technology for this product are created. The area of application of the received results is the fire service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.
