The composition of T. Storm's novel “Rider on the white horse” and it's artistic functions

The article discusses the artistic functions of the multilayer composition of T. Storm's novel “Rider on a white horse”. The paper explores ways of representation in the novel in different perspectives: the inhabitants of the village, on the one hand, and the main narrator - on the other. The study identified two dominant genres inside the novel: a story and a legend, the boundaries between them are shaky.
