Complex forensic psychological expertise

Introduction. The paper explains the issues of theory and practice of using special psychological knowledge for comprehensive and objective crime investigation and criminal trial. Materials and Methods. The methodological basis for forming the provisions included theoretical works and concepts in criminalistics, forensic expertise and certain provisions developed by some authors basing on the study of application of complex forensic psychological expertise technology. Results and Discussion. The author considers complex forensic expertises and complex forensic psychological expertises which constantly appear in practical law enforcement. Complex forensic expertise is an expertise of the future as it provides conducting a set of operative, effective, valid researches and prevents any falsification of expertises. Complex forensic psychological expertises assist in establishing psychological aptitudes of the person under examination, mental peculiarities of his state: emotions, fear, anxiety, as well as mental aptitudes such as temperament, character, abilities etc. Conclusions. The paper demonstrates and reveals complex forensic psychological expertises which are constantly found in practical law enforcement. Complex forensic expertise provides conducting a set of operative, effective, valid researches and prevents any falsification of expertises.
