Competences in demand for knowledge economy: particular features and specific nature of forming

The author of the article argues that the economy transition into the sixth technological mode will result in demand for profound changes in education system and its technological bases in particular. New technological mode requires that cognitive competence, prognostic competence, technological competence, analytic competence and competences in research, management and engineering should be formed and developed.
