В обзоре литературы обсуждаются клинико-психиатрические и социально-психологические последствия последствий дорожно-транспортных происшествий. Транспортная авария может повлечь за собой гибель людей или причинение телесных повреждений в результате травмы. Особое внимание уделяется факторам риска попадания в ДТП и гендерным особенностям стресс-реагирования участников ДТП. Подчеркивается необходимость оценки реабилитационного потенциала при организации медико-психологического сопровождения участников ДТП, а также учета преморбидных особенностей личности участников ДТП для повышения качества оказания помощи постадавшим в ДТП.
