Clinical structure of mental disorders in uncomplicated pregnancy

With clinical and psychopathological, psychological and statistical methods we surveyed 450 women with uncomplicated pregnancy. In 121 (26,9 %) cases we have clinically diagnosed mental disorders, among which neurotic, stress related and somatoform disorders were prevailing (14 %). Disorders of mature personality and adult behavior (2,9 %), affective mood disorders (2,7 %), organic, including symptomatic, mental disorders (2,4 %), mental and behavioral disorders due to the use of psychoactive substances (2 %), schizophrenia (1,1 %) and mild mental retardation (1,8 %) were revealed.
