Young patients (aged 25-44 years) who underwent treatment for structural-complex alcoholic psychosis were examined to identify differences in the clinical picture of the psychotic condition in men and women. Clinical features in the structure of visual and verbal hallucinations and their delusional interpretation by patients of both groups were identified, and also the features of the course and exit from psychosis were shown. The results of the study should be taken into account in the diagnosis and treatment. The purpose of the study, conducted on the basis of the emergency drug treatment department of the Regional Narcological Dispensary, was to provide a comparative description of the clinical picture of structural and complex alcoholic psychosis in men and women of young age. The study included persons aged 25-44 years with established diagnosis of mental and behavioral disorders, alcohol use, dependence syndrome, stage II and the established diagnosis of structurally complex alcoholic psychosis. Results of the study: In the case of a structurally complex psychosis, the number of men was larger than that of women, in all the ages, except for the group of 41-44.
