The informational and communicative competences are the most important components of economists' professional competence. The authors consider the integrated informational and communication educational competence as one of types of future economists' readiness to use computer technologies in their future careers. The article studies the model of methodical system of formation of informational and communicative competence of prospective economists. This system is represented as the totality of five interrelated components - objectives, contents, methods, means, organizational forms of education, which are considered in the context of the pedagogical interaction of educational process participants taking into account professional and personal potential of telecommunication technologies and the focus on forming studied competence. The innovative research is in purposeful implementation in the educational process of new technologies that contribute to the effective formation of information and communication educational competences of students of economic specialties. Thus, the competence in the most general sense is the integral characteristic of professional capacity of the individual student and their readiness for competitive participation in the market economic relations.
