Towards the issue of fundamental basis of traditional socio-communicative systems

The article deals with the essential characteristics and functional features of so-called socio-communicative (linguistic) systems that provide forms and methods of interaction in various areas of public life. The authors believe that in order to study their functions effectively, it is necessary to use the clarifying concept of communicative-regulatory system, responsible for informational support of the public life. A number of elements of this system have the status of normative precisely because of their specific information nature. In the archaic period myth constitutes the foundation of the system of social relations and institutions. The processes of demythologization, desacralization and denaturalization of public life have led to the erosion of the systems of traditional communicative-regulatory relations and the loss of their regulatory status - the process that becomes a subject of special consideration in this article.
