Research of suicidal risk of senior pupils in the framework of the Unified State Exam and Basic State Exam

This article is devoted to the study of the suicidal risk of high school students when revising for the OGE (the Basic State Exam) and EGE (the Unified State Exam). The authors consider various theoretical approaches to suicidal behavior, mainly in adolescence, note its features and factors influencing its occurrence, among which the preparation for the exams. The paper presents the results of the study of suicidal tendencies in students of 8—11 grades, as well as a comparative analysis of the data obtained in students who pass (grades 9, 11) and fail (grades 8, 10) the exams, in order to identify possible differences. Despite the fact that the results obtained did not confirm the hypothesis of an increase in suicidal risk, some self-destructive tendencies were identified, which indicates the need for measures to reduce and prevent suicidal behavior
