Бесплатный доступ

The article is devoted to the study of such a phenomenon as the peer teaching method in higher education. Two categories of peer teaching are considered, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. It is proved that peer teaching methodology appeared almost simultaneously with the time when education became available to most of the population. It is concluded that the main reason for the popularity of this method of training is due to financial reasons. The analysis shows that peer education is the most effective in combination with other teaching methods. This method has great potential both for the “teacher” student, and for the “student”- student, especially if they seek to expand active participation and develop skills of cooperation and social interaction.
