Informativeness of the lexicographic discourse in the analysis of regional naming a person in Russian

This article analyzes the regional naming as a basis of common lexical seed in the subset of “naming a person by profession, ability, occupation, type of activity and capabilities.” The sample of lexical units from “Big Academic Dictionary of the Russian Language”, the entries of which are estimated as discourses allowed to identify the composition of the group, introduce differentiated lexical units, depending on the value of semantic components, the presence of variant forms, the nature of notes accompanying the lexical unit The article interpreted regional connections of words with the synonymous units without local stops in the Russian language.Attracting additional sources from lexicographical discourses of different time periods revealed historical changes in the meanings of words in this group, their areal frequency characteristics.
