Informational and psychological support of internal affairs agencies at public events

This article deals with the results of examining the preparedness of law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of the public in the course of public events. Based on the research conducted the author justifies the necessity of developing practical recommendations for optimization and improvement of the functioning of the public safety militia in the course of public events. In our work we proceed from the fact that social and psychological information is an important prognostic and efficient instrument in the prevention of mass disorders, because the natural "brewing" of social and psychological phenomena precedes the immediate actions entailing mass disorders.
