The content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in pyrogenic samples - products of burning of coal and biomass under various conditions and with various additives is analyzed. The pyrogenic nature of the samples is determined on the basis of the PAH indicator ratios. It is shown that they are effective in varying degrees for the considered objects and in some cases do not allow sufficiently reliably establish the origin of PAHs in environmental components.
