Gogol and utopian socialism (an outline)

Gogol’s attitude to utopian socialism is stipulated by his idea of the structure of the contemporary society and the ways of its evolution. The analysis of such issues as «I» and «the Other», commotion of the society and individual psychology, inheritance of traditions and break from them is derived from this idea.
