Functioning of verbs of emotions in the Old Russian apocryphal texts

The article deals with the features of the using of the emotive verbs in the Old Russian apocryphal story "The Apostle Peter's Vision". The basic tendencies in the functioning of the verbs emotion have been described in the process of multi-aspectual investigation; the relationship of system, functional and lingvoculturological characteristics of words in an old text have been brought to light.
