Представлен обзор наиболее важных работ, посвященных изучению влияния отдельных продуктов питания и компонентов пищи на риск развития подагры, ее клинические проявления и уровень урикемии. Рассмотрены некоторые механизмы, вероятно, лежащие в основе влияния особенностей питания на уровень урикемии. Показано, что имеющиеся данные о возможности изменения рациона питания, при должном их применении, могут существенно повлиять как на заболеваемость подагрой, так и на течение уже имеющегося заболевания.
