This article explores the new business opportunities that the modern digital economy provides. The author considers digital platforms as a means of aggregation and provision of digital services, which forms the conditions for the development of a fundamentally new business model. It is pointed out that digital platforms, which are sites for various services, form the conditions for the development of a fundamentally new business environment in which digital communication determines the possibilities of not only commercial activities but also provides resources for the production of virtual goods and services.
