Digitalization and its impact on government: opportunities and risks for society

The article analyzes the digital transformation of public administration in our country and its conditionality by the introduction of a new public administration model on the example of the activities of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. The consequences of the transfer of the main activity of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation to the system of electronic digital products are analyzed. It is concluded that all the risks associated with the dynamic implementation of information and communication technologies in public administration have not been fully taken into account, which makes the process of developing a model of a service state in our country practically irreversible.
