Фитостерины являются биологически активными компонентами многих растений. Наиболее распространен среди них бета-ситостерин, который обладает рядом перспективных фармакологических свойств. В данном обзоре приведены характеристики биологических и химических свойств бета-ситостерина, а также методов его количественного определения.
