Free legal aid as a factor of accessibility of justice in civil procedure of Armenian republic

Purpose: The comparative analysis of the legislation of Armenian Republic and foreign countries regarding the institution of legal aid in civil proceedure. Methodology: Author used comparative legal and formal-legal methods. Results: This work discusses the concept of institution of free legal aid in civil procedure of Republic of Armenia, conducted a survey of public defenders on the provision of free legal aid, and identified the necessary directions for improvement of legislation in this area. Novelty/originality/value: Article carries a high scientific and practical value, since it is one of the first attempts to propose the creation of a separate legal instrument regulating the provision of free legal aid in civil proceedure of RA, based on the opinions of people directly providing it.
