The apocalyptic motives in the books of the Old Testament prophets

Until recent time in Western studies the origin and flourishing of apocalyptic writing is related to II BC. However, a number of written sources found in the XX century allow to move the origin of apocalyptic genre at least to the IV BC. Therefore it is quite legitimate to make a research of apocalyptic genre in the prophetic books of the Old Testament.
