Anti-terrorist protection of tourism by non-military means

In modern conditions, terrorism, parasitizing on the development of science and technology, cross-border relations and migration flows, has reached global proportions. The main method of its activity is the mass destruction of innocent people, the spread of fear and panic in order to exert beneficial pressure on the government. Tourism is becoming a special priority for terrorists, which attracts criminals with its growing scale, multinational composition, ability and ease of realizing terrorist threats against citizens of different countries. Russia takes active measures to ensure security in the field of tourism and hospitality. A nationwide anti-terrorism system has been formed and is successfully operating. Special bodies and security agencies focus their activity on the preventing terrorist attacks. However, the success of counter-terrorism measures largely depends not only on the activities of state bodies, but also on the active participation of the entire society and every citizen. University of Tourism and Service, other humanitarian and technical universities, whose graduates become specialists and leaders in the tourism industry, play equally important role in this. Based on this, the article defines the dynamics of the terrorism influence on the tourism development and represents the result of the study of the readiness of graduates to ensure the anti-terrorism security of tourism objects using non-military methods.
