The article is devoted to the treatise of Anselm Lucca (1036–1086) “Book against Guibert”, which is a letter of Anselm, addressed to the antipope Clement III. In this text Anselm responds to the previous letter of antipope and refutes his position from the point of view of ecclesiology of Saint Cyprian of Carthage. The text was important during the Investiture controversy between Pope Gregory VII and Emperor Henry IV. This publication is a complete translation of the book of Anselm of Lucca into Russian.
