Analysis of the food provision in the southern Russia

The article analyzes the food provision of the Southern Federal District. For this purpose, indicators of the economic and physical availability of the foodstuff for the population are analyzed. Indices of the agricultural production in the Southern Federal District in 2009-2011 are examined. Economic availability of the foodstuff for the population of the Southern Federal District is estimated by analyzing the consumer price index for food, consumption of food, the dynamics of per capita incomes.
