Analysis of the legal component in master's educational programs in the field of physical education

The article presents the results of the analysis of the legal component (availability of legal disciplines) in Master's programs in the field of physical education of organizational and managerial orientation. Research aim is to improve the quality of professional training of Master's students of the educational direction 49.04.01 «Physical education» in the aspect of the legal preparedness for professional activities. Research methods: 1) literature analysis, 2) analysis of the Master's curriculum of four sports universities. Research results. According to educational legislation and in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the Master's program in the field of physical education the University acquired the right to independently fill the educational program with academic disciplines, allowing to solve the selected types of tasks of professional activity and to execute labor functions, provided by the relevant professional standard. In the study, the legal orientation of professional training in the field of physical education has been analyzed (profile «Management in the field of physical education and sports»), therefore the requirements of the professional standard «Head of the organization (organizational units) have been taken into account, connected with activities in the field of physical education and sports», approved by the order of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation from October 29, 2015 №798n, to the competence of the graduate to perform managerial labor functions. A mandatory component of this competence is legal preparedness, including the reasonable application of legal knowledge in practice in the context of its digitalization in a regulatory focus. Conclusion: In the structure of curricula of the educational direction 49.04.01 «Physical education» (organizational and managerial profile of training) the percentage of legal disciplines (on average) is 10%. Mandatory inclusion of legal disciplines in the Master's program is one of the conditions for the assimilation and reasonable implementation (within the framework of the normative contour) of students of general cultural, general professional and professional competencies specified in the Federal State Educational Standard.
