На современном этапе совершенствования методов психотерапии особенно актуальны проблемы изучения закономерностей развития, распознавания начальных этапов и психотерапевтически-ориентированной диагностики психических заболеваний, проведения ранних терапевтических вмешательств в отношении такого заболевания, как шизофрения, и её манифестации у больных из группы психотического риска. Это остается одним из самых сложных, перспективных и востребованных направлений в современной медицине. В статье приводится обоснование применения психотерапевтических подходов, форм и методов психотерапии, направленных не только на редукцию симптомов психотического риска и снижение риска манифестации психоза, но и на улучшение уровня социального функционирования. Основное внимание уделяется наиболее распространенному когнитивно-поведенческому методу с подробным рассмотрением его основных протоколов
