Analysis of the effectiveness of career guidance institute of natural sciences of the Volgograd State University

The article presents the dynamics of the contingent of students of the 1st course in the directions of training of Institute of Natural Sciences for 5 years. The article describes the basic forms of career guidance, the Institute of natural Sciences, Volgograd state University to attract of graduates of schools to obtain vocational education at the bachelor degree program. Basic forms of career guidance the Institute of natural Sciences include mailing of printed materials for schools in Volgograd and the Volgograd region; the publication of materials about the educational activities of the Institute in the regional media; meetings with pupils at schools; work with Gifted freshman. Analysis of effectiveness of forms of vocational guidance activities were carried out on the basis of the results of the survey of students enrolled in Institut natural Sciences, Volgograd state University in 2015. Analysis of the results allowed to identify the priority form of career guidance for natural-science directions of higher education. Also, the prospects of further development of career guidance at the Institute of natural Sciences, Volgograd state University. Equally important to conduct competitions of research works of schoolchildren to attract them into the scientific activity of higher education. It is necessary to develop the existing electronic information resources for the organization of on-line communication with the professional community of the Institute of natural Sciences.
