Analysis of the innovative development of the branches of the Russian agro-industrial complex

The paper studies the specificities and main types of innovations characteristic of agricultural and food enterprises. It is found out that the innovative development processes taking place in the Russian agro-industrial complex’s branches are highly different. The present state of the Russian agro-industrial complex’s innovative development is viewed by analyzing the basic parameters of the innovative activity. Recommendations on improving the efficiency of management of the innovative processes in the agro-industrial complex in the context of different kinds of activity are offered. The increasing role of organizational-managerial innovations at agricultural and food enterprises in the context of the new challenges and threats arising from the intensifying global and regional integration processes is substantiated.
