The article analyzes the attitude to the event in modern poetic texts, which has become one of the main genre-forming principles of modern idyll. The article presents a typology of eventfulness/eventlessness in modern idyllic works. The article proves that the poetry of the XX-XXIth centuries has been presented by eventlessness texts as well as the poems in which an "event" in the life of the hero is outside the framework of the story but is implicitly emphasized; and also by the texts containing the description of the event, which is possible in the future.
