Advocacy in Republic of Belarus: legislation and practice

Purpose: Consideration of features of the organization and activity of advocacy profession in Republic of Belarus. Methodology: The formal-legal and historical-legal method were used. Results: In article questions of the organization and activity of legal (advocacy) profession in Republic of Belarus are considered. It is noted that this institute has considerably kept shape of the Soviet model of legal profession. To these in Belarus there is only one republican lawyer organization, and the legal profession is under strong influence of authorities. Novelty/originality/value: Article has the high scientific value as represents attempt of judgment of the significant legal phenomena.
