Advocate in criminal trial of the Republic Vietnam

Purpose: To cover basics of legal status of the advocate - defender by the legislation of the Republic Vietnam. Methodology: Formal-legal and comparative and legal methods were used. Results: In this article basic rights and the advocate - defender obligations for the legislation of the Republic Vietnam are considered, cases when participation of the advocate - defender in legal proceedings is obligatory under the law are investigated. Novelty/originality/value: Article has a certain scientific value and the practical importance.
