The article deals with the age peculiarities of the hockey players’ chronic training adaptations, the fundamental patterns of dynamic changes and the correlation between the main characteristics of functional capacity, physical development and physical qualities of the young hockey players aged 9 to 12. The significance of the study is that a comprehensive approach to athletes’ physical development and adaptations will not only improve their athletic performance, but also keep them fit.
