This article provides an overview of international experience in the application of additive technologies in the construction industry. 3D-printing allows to realize architectural projects of any complexity, abate the amount of industrial waste, to reduce the deficit of housing, cut down material, energy and labor costs for construction. The article shows the basic technologies used for printing of buildings and structures and its distinctive features. Also the question about materials used for the manufacture of building mixtures was examined. Special attention to the assessment of modern State of 3D printing in the world is given. A review of construction companies, equipment manufacturers and research centers, which are major participants in the market is conducted. The main objectives of the study are popularizing additive technologies in Russia, the introduction of innovative construction techniques, and creation of governing document regulating the production activities.
